Having fun with Grandpa Kocher

We got to have a quick visit with Grandpa Kocher this week!

Emma and Gpa Kocher

Emma showing Gpa Kocher where she put her ornaments on the tree.

Then Gpa Kocher let her open one of her presents.  It is a recordable book from Hallmark.  And everyone (Gpa Kocher, Gma Kocher, Aunt Whitley, Aunt Lexanna, and Aunt Kensley) all took turns recording a page to read to Emma.  She was so funny to watch listening to this.  Like she was trying to figure out where the voices were coming from.

She kept turning it to the last page, which is where they all were singing "Frosty the Snowman" to her.

Here is a video of everyone reading to Emma.  So cute!

Then we decided to go outside and play.

She had to check it out again before bedtime.

"So you're saying these voices are people I'm related to????"

Then we tried to get a good photo with all of us...

attempt 1

attempt 2

Ok, this was the best shot I had... Emma looks pretty pumped to be getting her photo taken!

Then to make sure she was good and tired, Brian tried to completely exhaust her by playing around before bedtime.  And it worked!  She slept about 12 hours last night without even waking up!  =)

We had a great time with both Gpa Kocher and Uncle Derek.  Just wish everyone else could have made it out here too!
