We've been so busy this week, I forgot to post some pictures that I've taken. So here is our week in review.
We got a red wagon (early Christmas present). Emma loves to go get the mail with me, but she's getting kind of heavy to carry down to the mailbox and it's takes her about a year and half to walk, so... we now have a wagon!
She also likes to sit in it while watching her movies.
Taking her out on it's maiden voyage! It's been a little chilly outside, luckily Gramma Mary made us a nice warm quilt to cozy up with on our ride. =)
Our guest! Uncle Derek is staying with us this week. At first Emma was not too sure about this strange guy, but I think she's warming up to him.
Eating grapes and watching Uncle Derek make some cinnamon rolls.
We spent Thanksgiving with some friends of ours in Tehachapi. And our other friends just moved back to Edwards AFB, so they came along with us. It was a great day full of good food and great friends!
Here's Jack... he actually wasn't mad, I'm just bad at taking photos. He liked Emma's turtle though! =)
Little Miss Blue Eyes
Jack and his mommy, Megan.
Emma was exhausted, she crashed in Uncle Derek's arms.
And here's what I've been up to all week... my first (and last) hand appliqued quilted wall hanging.
It's cute and I like how it turned out, I just did not enjoy the process of making this. I'm ready to get back on my sewing machine and making some quilts.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
You are SO talented! I'm finishing a quilt with my Mom this Friday -- taking the day off to quilt with her! How fun! I love Emma's response to the tree and book. It looks like you are all enjoying December, as you should be. We all have so much to celebrate!
