2010 - What a year!

I can not believe this year is coming to an end.  How fast did that go?  So many things happened this year, let's see if I can recap it all for you:

• Discovered a LOVE of quilting, here is a snapshot of most the quilts I made in 2010

• Went to Sea World for the first time with Emma

• Took a trip home to visit family, as well as enjoyed having several family members come out here to visit - especially having Uncle Wes here for about 3 months!

• Brian got to fly in an F-16

• Took Emma to the Pacific Ocean

• My baby girl turned 1 year old; learned to sit, crawl, walk & talk - basically go from a baby to a toddler

• Went skydiving for the first and last time
Lake Elsinore, CA

• Celebrated our 5 year anniversary

• Team Knaup raised almost $9,000 fundraising for a cure for Lupus

• Took Emma to Disneyland for her first time

• Started working again - tutoring online
• Diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure - but am fighting it well (doc appts after the start of the new year to see progress)
• Early detection prevented me from becoming a statistic among millions of cancer patients
• And had a wonderful time visiting Santa at his workshop again

Another fresh new year is here,

Another year to live!

To banish worry, doubt, and fear,

To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given me

To live each day with zest,

To daily grow and try to be

My highest and my best!

I have the opportunity

Once more to right some wrongs,

To pray for peace, to plant a tree,

And sing more joyful songs!
