Happy Mother's Day!

Today is a day to celebrate, show gratitude and consideration.

Celebrate your Momma for sure!
Be thankful if you are a Momma too.

And be mindful of those
- who have LOST their Momma's already
- are UNABLE to become a Momma
- or heaven forbid have BURIED a child.

I am lucky.  Despite my disease, I was able to enjoy one of God's greatest blessings - carrying a child of my own.

I'm also very lucky to have not only a wonderful mother, but several 'mothers' in my life.  Step-mom, mother-in-law, grandmas, aunts, friends that have become more than friends, like a mother to be exact.  All these wonderful women have influenced my life and I am grateful for each and every one of them.

But I have dear ones close to me that have either:
- lost their mother
- have yet to become a mother
- will never be able to conceive a child of their own
- or have buried a child

This day must be extremely hard for them, I would imagine this is similar to what Valentine's Day feels like for those that are single.  Hallmark, Walmart, and every other chain store across the country is covered wall to wall with Mother's Day garb.

Another day reminding you of what you want but cannot have.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers as I celebrate my 2nd Mother's Day.  I do not take any day for granted as I know how easily it can all be taken away.

And a BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful mothers out there.  You have one of the most important roles in our society and you deserve a day!

♥ Love to you all! ♥
