Brooklyn says, "Hey guys! How was your week?"
She's been talking like crazy these days! I thought I heard her say "Mum" the other day. She was looking right at me too, but I have been unsuccessful at getting her to say it again.
My mom swears up and down that Brooklyn is "all Kocher" which I agree, she definitely looks like a "Kocher". But I can see a bit of "Rennier" in her too...
Apparently, flexibility and holding your feet up by your face runs in the family on the Rennier side. This is my mom as a baby!
bawhhahahahh
Brooklyn says that's not all she's been working on...
She is now a pro at holding her own bottle!

This weekend was pretty exciting. My brother Wes turned 28 years old (THANK YOU all so much for leaving "Happy Birthday" comments last week!!!! Totally made his day!).
AND Emma and I attended the Walk for Lupus Now Awards Party!
She was so excited to be "going to a party in Los Angeles"
We packed a small backpack of stuff for her to do and her favorite snack... fruit loops!
She was so good. Patiently waited for the ceremony to begin.
There was another little girl there. Meet Lilah. Lilah is 6 years old and has lupus. Her family was so nice. They played "Simon Says" and other kid games with Emma. Before we left, Emma gave her a big hug and said, "Thanks for playing with me"
Lilah is such a doll. My heart goes out to her. I'm in my 30's and I don't understand what's going on with my body... I can't even imagine how confusing this all must be for her.
Emma's face was so funny when they called my name for winning 3rd place for most money raised by an individual for Los Angeles.
With your support, I raised $6,110!
Thank you all so very much!!!
Her face in this one is funny too! This is our team award. Team Knaup was ranked #6 for most money raised by a team.
We raised $7,320!
Again, thank you all for being so kind and generous!
And a special thank you to the members of Team Knaup:
Alisa
Renee
Lori
Wes
Katy
You guys are the best!!!
After the awards were given out, we took a few photos with our special friends. Here is Miss Wendy!
And here is a group photo. With the exception of Emma (thank God) everyone in this picture has lupus.

We've started our cooking classes!
She really loves helping me in the kitchen. Especially when she gets to wear her chef's hat.
She's mastered the art of making de pizza pie!
And eating it of course.
Her other favorite thing to make is "Surprise Popcorn"
She adds M&M's to her bowl of popcorn!
She loves it!

We received an AWESOME package in the mail from my friend Alisa. She sent Emma and Brooklyn a whole bunch of stuff, but the coolest of all was this stethoscope!!
She kept saying how she was a nurse like her Gma Jill in Wisconsin!
She even convinced Brian to be her first patient.
When she's not playing doctor, she's playing...
"spider monkey"
I have NO IDEA why she is trying to climb this light pole. But it cracks me up!
My mom sent us this book:
If you have a toddler, I highly recommend this book! It is so fun. Each page has a command for the reader to do. Press the yellow dot. Shake the book to the left. Clap once. etc.
Emma likes the part where you blow away the black ink and it looks like the dots and the ink are being blown off the page.
Thank you Alisa and Mom for such wonderful gifts!!!

I've been crafting a lot of different things this week!
This post is ridiculously long. I apologize. Every week, I think, "We didn't even do anything, what in the world am I going to post about." Then I sit down to write it and a novel comes out.
If you've made it this far, thank you so much! We love sharing our adventures with you!
