Here are Brooklyn's photos for her 6 month session:
The only way Emma would get in the photo and take a good picture was if I got in there too. So there you have it, all 3 of us. I figured my mom would like this one at least. ♥
Otherwise... this was Emma's *smile* in all the photos of her and Brooklyn.
bahwahhaha
We took a couple of family photos before heading to the portrait studio.

Earlier this week, Gma Barb came by for a visit!!!
Oh Emma LOVED LOVED LOVED this! She convinced Gma Barb to paint her nails teal with dark blue polka dots and stripes!
We love Gma Barb, she's so sweet and funny and gives all the hugs and kisses a baby can stand! ♥

We decided it was time for Emma to have a real first haircut!
So of course we went to Gma Barb's work and had her do the honors.
She even let Emma keep the pony tail!
So we put it on Brooklyn to see what she's going to look like with hair!
This photo cracks me up! She looks like a little leprechaun! hehehhehe
In all, it was about 7 inches of hair that she cut off. Emma looks so much older now. But she loves it and so do I. Thank you Gma Barb!!! We love you!!!

I love nap times at our house! And luckily, thankfully, miraculously, they usually nap at the same time.
Brooklyn likes sleeping in this bean bag.
Emma likes sleeping in her *under the kitchen table* hammock
And Brian likes the lazy boy. I love that Brooklyn is grinning in this photo. Like she's all proud of herself that she stayed awake longer than Daddy. ♥
So while they are all snoozing, I've been able to make/sell some more crocheted goodies!
Owl hats for a set of triplets born last week!
And 3 pairs of hand warmers for a friend's munchkins.

This week was also full of field trips. We had Brooklyn's 6 month check up and Emma got to try out her new stethoscope!
The girls' doctor and his staff are so awesome. They were more than happy to let my little doctor play her role in the visit.
Brooklyn is doing great! She grew 3 inches and gained 2.5 lbs in 2 months and is now in the 50th percentile for both categories! So so so so so grateful that she is happy, healthy, and growing so big and strong. Doc says we can start her on real food now!
We also went to the LA Zoo this week!
But you'll have to check out our homeschooling blog to see how that went! I should have that post up by Friday!
Brooklyn says, "This is serious. You better check out our other blog. Or I'll drool all over your computer screen!"
bawhhahaha - her facial expressions are the best!
ANNNNNNDDDDD, we are so EXCITED for this weekend!!!!
The Jenkins' are coming all the way from Illinois to visit us!!!!!
We have a full weekend planned of fun stuff!!!!
Hurry up Friday, we can't stand the wait any longer!
Till next week!

The photos are wonderful. Have fun this weekend with a houseful! Happy 6 months to Brooklyn! Love to you all!
